Civil War Chronicles - Fabric by Judie Rothermel and
design & pattern by Homestead Hearth is the Block of the Month for 2011. It's just gorgeous. The blocks tell the stories of twelve women who endured their own struggles on the home front while their husbands were away. Quilters will enjoy learning about these interesting women, representing both sides of this historical conflict in our nation. Each installment will include a pattern, fabric and a biography about the general's wives and important events of their wartime experiences.
