Now, this being a blog about quilting and fabric and not about my travels, I'll cut to the chase. While in Krakow, our first stopping point, we were strolling through Kazimierz , the old Jewish sector of the city prior to WWII, we came upon a pub by the name of SingerCafe'. What is unique about this place is all the tables (about 70-75) are treadle sewing machines including all the tables in the outdoor seating area. As a proud owner of a couple of these fine Singer machines myself, of course we had to go in for a couple of Zywiecs. As we sat and enjoyed our brew we were surrounded by all these wonderful machines. It was fantastic, a real sense of history. What a great place and what a unique concept! \
